Who we are

Lee Ann Sauter, Chairman and CEO

With a comprehensive history in large retail corporations, Lee Ann Sauter has been able to envision and implement a revolutionary approach to resort retail: to apply the profitable corporate structure to the more customer-pleasing, boutique experience. From fifteen years experience in the field, she brings with her established investor relations and marketing finesse.

Mrs. Sauter oversaw the operations and growth for many multi-million dollar regions for The Gap and Tommy Hilfiger. As Vice President of customer store experience for Guess Inc., she increased same store sales by 118%. In addition to Seaside Luxe, Mrs. Sauter is currently the principal partner for the Blue Orchid Group, a retail executive recruitment company.

Eric Lopez, Creative Director

Eric Lopez oversees all creative aspects of Seaside Luxe, including store design, architecture, merchandising and marketing. He brings with him over 10 years experience in boutique and specialty retail, with endeavors at William Sonoma Inc., Guess? Inc., Tommy Hilfiger Retail, and Gap Inc. Mr. Lopez’s expertise with vendors, designers, and product management allows him to tailor services to each client’s specific needs.

Jackie Canales, Director of Operations / Sr. Project Manager

Ms. Canales opened the first Seaside boutique at the Hualalai Resort and is currently the project manager for the construction of all boutiques at that location. With over 15 years experience, Ms Canales possesses a comprehensive understanding of the retail and wholesale worlds, with expertise in management, training, recruiting, launching new products and representing fashion lines, working for companies such as Ron Herman, Fred Segal and The Gap.

Leslie McMorrow

After studying both business economics and Asian studies, McMorrow lived in Japan where she began to hone her expertise in Asian and Hawaiian aesthetics including art history, photography and interior design. For over ten years, she worked as the creative force behind Kennedy-Wilson's commercial and residential real estate advertising and marketing campaigns culminating in over $1 billion in domestic and international sales. Most recently, she has collaborated with Barney's New York in staging fashion benefits on behalf of acclaimed design houses such as Lanvin, Nina Ricci and Emanuel Ungaro.

Frankie Stabler-Sholem

For the past 15 years, Frankie has served as a freelance buyer and personal stylist. She combs the world on behalf of her discriminating clientele, importing fashions from locales such as Milan, Paris and Berlin. In addition to fashion, Frankie has applied her discerning eye to the world of architecture and interior design, acting as design advisor for various homes in Hawaii and Beverly Hills. For 5 years Frankie served as a tastemaker for the city of Beverly Hills and, before that, as manager and buyer at various local boutiques and department stores, such as Jax, Bonwitt Teller’s, Fred Segal, and Boulmiche.
